Access to Inpatient Services
For patients to be hospitalized
When you are to be hospitalized, you are requested to produce your Consultation Card, Health Insurance Certificate and Letter of Guarantee (signed by a person other than a member of your family) at the counter of the Medical Affairs Division or the General Information Office. After all necessary procedures are taken, you will be escorted to the sickroom.
Things you are requested to bring in
Health Insurance Certificate, Consultation Card, seal, bath towels, toilet kit, underwears, slippers, tea cup, tissue and so on.
*Make sure that you write your name on your personal belongings.
*Daily necessities are on sale in grocery store located on the first floor ofthe main building.
Charges
Standard charge for admission a day

The admission charge includes fees for nursing, bedding and treatment
The fees for medicines, treatment, radiography and operations are not included in the admission charge.
Of those fees, you will pay 20 percent if you are a subscriber to the Social Health Insurance Scheme, 20 percent if you are a member of a subscriber's family or 30 percent if you are a subscriber to the National Health Insurance Scheme in addition to the standard charge.
*When the monthly charges you have to pay exceeds \63,600 (\35,400 if you are a low-income earner), the excess will be paid from the entity of the insurance scheme.
You are requested to pay \760 a day for meals served while you are in hospital, irrespective of the insurance scheme under which you are covered. If you want to borrow a pajama and gown, you will be able to do so at a cost of \80 a day.
Receiving a bill for the monthly admission charges, you are requested to make the payment at the counter of the Division of Medical Affairs on the first floor.
Charge for single-bed rooms a day: \3,000 per room
Charge for special single bed rooms a day: \4,000 - \20,000
*If you want to check in one of those rooms, consult with your attending doctor or head nurse after you are hospitalized.
Visitors
Visitors are allowed to call on inpatients between 2 and 7 in the afternoon.
*Visitors are requested to check with the nursing station without fail.
*Avoid visiting inpatients with children to prevent infection.
*Refrain from visiting inpatients at the mealtime.
*Meet inpatients in the interview room or the lobby in the outpatient service area.
*Refrain from smoking, eating and drinking in any sickroom.
Mealtimes
Breakfast----8 a.m.
Lunch------12 p.m.
Supper------6 p.m.
While in Hospital
- Should you have any weight on your mind, do not hesitate to discuss with your attending physician or nurse.
- Strictly observe instructions from your attending physician or nurse.
- To put in a call, use an in-house public telephone. The use of a cellular phone inside the hospital building is prohibited.
- Smoking is prohibited in areas other than those specified.
- For bathing, outing and overnight visit, consult with the attending physician or nurse without fail.
- If you want to have an attendant, get permission from your attending physician. The attendant would be able to use a bed at cost.
- All lights in the sickrooms are put out at 9 p.m.
- Refrain from using electric appliances (such as electric blankets, fans and so on) other than those furnished in your sickroom.
- In case of an emergency, such as an earthquake or fire, you will be escorted by physicians and nurses.
Other Reminders
- To facilitate the delivery of incoming mail to you, make sure that your address bear the name of your ward and the number of your room.
- Strictly refrain from giving money or other gifts to any staff hospital member.
- You cannot leave your car in the hospital's parking area while you are in hospital.
- he in-house grocery store is opened from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 2.p.m. on Sunday and a national holiday.
- You can buy a 900-minute TV card from one of the vending machines installed in the hospital.
